Wooden Sun Lounger

Our wooden sun lounger has an adjustable back which can be set to eight different levels of elevation for optimum comfort and support.

Designed for outdoor use, they feature sturdy construction from African Knysna Karri Hardwood.

This locally harvested timber (mainly from the Knysna area of the scenic Garden Route) originates from South Western Australia and is often confused with Jarrah due to its reddish-brown colouring.

Due to its heavy density and durability, Karri is widely used in South Africa in the manufacture of domestic outdoor goods such as parasol umbrellas, garden benches and for affordable timber decking.

Acrylic Canvas - Information Update

Acrylic is naturally resistant to rotting, mildew, mild acids and alkalis, and is the most suitable fibre for use with outdoor furnishings and products.

Apart from the standard acrylic canvas range of fabrics we use, enquire about the "Patio" and "Parabella" ranges of fabric we offer for the manufacture of our parasol canopies. Both are solution-dyed acrylic canvas fabrics guaranteed, for three years from date of manufacture, not to become unserviceable due to fading or loss of strength.

As with all the fabrics used in the manufacture of our quality products, these are treated with a Teflon fabric protector which is a water, oil and general soil repellent finish.
